Our Work
Walker Automotive Group was founded by Matt Walker, a San Diego-based automotive entrepreneur with over 25 years of experience spanning nearly every corner of the industry.
Matt's journey began at age 21 when he opened his own independent car lot. In 2017 he became one of the earliest large-scale Turo operators in the country, growing his portfolio to over 200 listed vehicles before the platform went mainstream. He later developed a fractional ownership model offering 1/5 shares in exotic vehicles including Lamborghini and Ferrari, classic American icons like the Corvette and Bronco, and luxury yachts and recreational vehicles.
Today, Walker Automotive Group works with dealerships, fleet operators, and EV companies to build smarter partnerships, modernize sales operations, and identify opportunities that others are too close to see. With real relationships across the dealer group landscape — including AutoNation and Lithia Motors — WAG brings hands-on experience that no traditional consulting firm can replicate.
